First Maraja-illustrated edition, UK issue, having been printed in Milan by the artist’s publisher for the UK market. Libico Maraja was an Italian illustrator, perhaps most famous for his illustrated edition of Pinocchio, who created wonderful illustrated editions of many of the classics of children’s literature. This gorgeous edition of Carroll’s classic tale is bursting with color and motion and is a true delight for any fans of Wonderland.
