First edition. When William Pene du Bois is asked moved from his hotel room during a visit to Spain, he knows something must be up. So when he discovers that the building across from his hotel room is housing a young giant, he is immediately intrigued. Upon learning that El Muchacho, as the giant was known, had been forced out of city after city, Mr. du Bois makes it his mission to find a place where this "monster" can feel at home. This is a heartwarming and beautifully illustrated tale of acceptance and kindness.
