First edition. 1953 Newbery Honor Book! This beloved book by E. B. White, author of Stuart Little and The Trumpet of the Swan, is a classic of children's literature. How Wilbur, the runt of a pig’s litter, is adopted by Fern, befriended by the spider, Charlotte, and saved by Charlotte’s clever writing – and spinning. One of the most beautiful children’s books ever written. The basis for the 1973 and 2006 films.
