First edition. The very first issue of Kate Greenaway’s Almanacks, which were issued every year from 1883 until 1897 with the exception of 1896. Each volume contains calendars, lists of holidays, and astronomical information, all wonderfully highlighted by Greenaway’s intricately delicate color illustrations. A charming volume showcasing Greenaway's delicate work and wonderful costuming that inspired real life fashion trends.
