Spine ends and corners a bit rubbed, slight soiling and a few light spots to cloth, fore-edge and endpapers a tad foxed, endpapers a bit aged, else a clean, bright copy.

Filled with Rountree’s imaginative and lush watercolor illustrations, this lavishly illustrated edition of Alice features Rountree’s first interpretation of the classic tale of fantasy and wonder and was one of the most profusely color-illustrated editions of Alice issued when it first entered the public domain.
