This activity board includes eight windows or doors - one for each night of the holiday. There is a punch-out Menorah with candle flames for each night: easy recipes for potato pancakes (latkes) and orange-flavored doughnuts (sufgannyot); an easily assembled dreidel and of course Chanukah gelt to use with it; a word search game, and punch-out soldiers representing both Syrians and Macabees. During the holiday, as a window is opened each night a flame is inserted into the paper Menorah, your child will come to understand the meaning of this "Festival of Lights," one of the many important holidays on the Jewish calendar.
