First edition (with 12 color plates,) in first state dust jacket (listing only to this title on rear flap). The last of the original Oz books to be issued with color plates. When three emerald necklaces cause everyone in Oz to forget all about Princess Ozma, the Wizard, and Glinda the Good and acknowledge instead a fat old king named Skamperoo as supreme ruler, all of Oz is in trouble!
