Sweet Storytimes to Warm Your Heart!  

Come celebrate Small Business Saturday with these sensational storytimes for you and your young readers to enjoy!

At 1pm, ISLENIA MIL will share her newest picture book Come Catch A Dream. A young child and their Momma always pass by the ice skating rink on their way home. Last year, skating on the rink was tricky, it looked clear and smooth but felt rough and rocky after an awful tumble. This year, the child is determined to spin on the ice for the very first time. After all, Momma always says: "Nothing is impossible!"

At 3pm, DAVID EZRA STEIN will present his latest picture book, Interrupting Chicken Saves the Nutcracker. It’s winter vacation for the little red chicken and, with promises of best behavior, she’s on her way to see The Nutcracker with Papa. She can’t wait! In fact, she’s so excited that Papa is worried she might get a little carried away. But surely the little red chicken will keep her promise and not turn this holiday classic on its head…right?

At 5pm, JOSHUA DAVID STEIN will read his newest picture book Make New Friends. Tomasso is the new kid at his school, so he doesn't know anyone and has no one to play with. When he comes home, his dad constantly asks if he's made any new friends. Knowing his dad will ask, Tomasso creates new friends; there's Roland (a foam ball), Coco (a milk carton), and Karen (a very pink eraser). But when his dad insists on having his friends over for pizza, Tomaso knows that his secret will be out. Will his dad welcome his new friends?
