Here's a virtual picture book event featuring FIVE powerful and moving biographies showcasing heroes your young readers will be inspired by.
In this event we'll explore the lives of the first Black Congresswoman, Shirley Chisholm; the man behind the 1963 March on Washington, Bayard Rustin; the creator of the Tower of Life exhibit at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, Yaffa Eliach; singer, songwriter and humanitarian Dolly Parton; and the passionate abstract painter Alma Thomas.
