Roxie in Color

We're so pleased to be hosting co-authors DIANE DEBROVNER and STACY CERVENKA for the launch of their amazing middle grade novel, Roxie in Color! They'll be joined by GAYLE FORMAN, author of Not Nothing, for a discussion of all things books, writing—and of course—this wonderful new read.

Artist and animal-lover Roxie is starting seventh grade in a new town and she's determined to be more than “the girl with blind parents”—so she keeps her parents' blindness a secret. But the lies start to pile up with consequences for Roxie and her family. Can Roxie finally find acceptance and the courage to be honest with her friends, her parents, and herself?

It's a touching tale about the desire to establish your own identity and the joys, challenges, and everyday ordinariness of being raised by parents who have a disability. Join us in-store as we celebrate its release!
