Sweet Tales to Share!

Join us to meet a sweet girl and her panda friend as they bake the day away, follow a girl as she dreams of grand adventures, see a mother and daughter clash over a hair-knot-turned-spectacle, and party away with monsters who love mac n cheese! 

You won't want to miss: 

• Cindy and Panda by BENSON SHUM. Cindy loves to bake, but she doesn’t always follow a recipe! One day, she runs out to grab ingredients for a pie and comes back with something sweeter — a panda who wants to help! Their freestyle recipe may lead to chaos in the kitchen and a bit of a messy meltdown, but together, the pair have the perfect ingredients for a sweet-as-pie friendship.
  
  
• Once There Was by CORINNE DEMAS. A simple, contemporary fable about dreaming of being something else, transformations, and the interconnectedness of all things. In this magical, modern fairy tale, a girl dreams she is a princess. A princess dreams she is a horse. A horse dreams she is a tree, a tree a mountain, a mountain a moon, a moon a sea, a sea a girl.

• The Tangle-Knot by LORETTA ELLSWORTH. Fia's hair is a bird nest — literally! Her hair's become so messy that a family of birds have taken roost in it. Flabbergasted, Fia's mom goes on a mission to tame her daughter's hair but Fia's commitment to being truly and authentically herself might just change her mind!

• The Monster Mac and Cheese Party by TODD PARR. We all know kids love macaroni and cheese. But who knew monsters do too? The monsters hold a mac and cheese party (no humans allowed) and share all their creepy twists on this favorite food. The party is going fine until the monsters are surprised by the unexpected arrival of HUMANS at their party!
