These incredible YA graphic novels will take readers to the art scene of Japan and the high school hallways of the Philippines! We're thrilled to host ABBY DENSON, author of My Tokyo Summer, and RICHARD MERCADO, author-illustrator of Coming Out Perfect. 

In My Tokyo Summer, Abby and Yuuko—two decade-long, comic-loving pen pals—finally meet in person. With Tokyo playing host to Comiket, one of the largest comics conventions in the world, the pair decide to work on a comic together and sell it there.

Coming Out Perfect follows Kevin Reyes, a high schooler in the Philippines who has just come out to his parents--but they say nothing and change the subject. Raymond, the popular gay kid at his high school, takes Kevin under his wing. After all, if Kevin can do everything perfectly, too, then people will have to pay attention to him. But perfection comes at a cost.
