These two sweet titles are full of ways to say that you care, as well as feature lovely homages to nature and tradition! This event will be moderated by MICHELLE KNUDSEN, author of Luigi, The Spider Who Wanted to be a Kitten.

• You'll Always Be My Chickadee by KATE HOSFORD & illustrated by SARAH GONZALES. With lyrical, rhyming text and gorgeous illustrations of creatures and their environments, this gentle book that shows that there are as many ways to say "I love you" as there are special moments to be shared together! • Gigi and Ojiji: Perfect Paper Cranes by MELISSA IWAI. Gigi loves Japan Festival day! When Ojiji volunteers at the origami booth, Gigi can’t wait to make a paper crane like Ojiji’s. But folding paper is harder than it looks, and Gigi is disheartened when she sees her paper crane next to Ojiji’s. Will Gigi give up or will she try her best?
