Storytime with the Author

We're thrilled to host author-illustrator CARIN BERGER for storytime with her gorgeous picture book, Sofia's Journey: A Migration Story.

Sofia’s home isn’t safe anymore. She and her family travel far and long, over the land and under the stars. They walk away from all they know, everything they love, except each other. Sofia isn’t sure if she can be brave, but every time she looks up, she sees a dove in the clouds, watching over her. Sometimes it takes a lot of looking, and sometimes crowded tents nearly block her view. But the dove is always there with her, all the way to a possible new home.

It's an essential book for readers of all ages, brought to life with stellar collage artwork. Join us in-store and listen in!
