Launch Event: Licorice

Author KARA LAREAU is joining us for the launch of her critically acclaimed new middle grade novel: Licorice! She'll be in conversation with DAN POBLOCKI, author of Shadow Play.

Licorice follows Kitty the kitten, who has finally been adopted by a loving family—but there's a strange scent lingering in the house. Every chair leg, every carpet fiber, every throw pillow, even inside the bathtub. Everything smells like Licorice. If the smell isn’t enough family’s parrot, won’t let Kitty forget that she is a replacement. And soon, Kitty finds herself trapped in the long shadow of the cat that came before her. But is it just a shadow? Or is there something really there on the other side of it...

A purrfect blend of suspense and heart make for a read—and an event—that you just can't miss! Come grab a seat as we celebrate its release!
