Spine ends a tad rubbed with upper edge a bit sunned, gilt stamping faded, lower corners a bit rubbed, else a clean, tight copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (soiled, chip at top of spine panel extending into a 1 ¼” x 1” chip at top of front panel, spine a bit sunned,).

3^rd printing. E. Nesbit’s final book, incomplete upon her death in 1924, was edited by her daughter and released posthumously in 1925. The misadventures of five siblings – and their cousin Madeline – after their parents lose their fortune and there are sent to live with their distant relative, Miss Knox.
