3rd printing. E. Nesbit’s final book, incomplete upon her death in 1924, was edited by her daughter and released posthumously in 1925. The misadventures of five siblings – and their cousin Madeline – after their parents lose their fortune and there are sent to live with their distant relative, Miss Knox.
