As the only openly gay boy in his grade, high school junior Dylan Highmark has few prospects for romance. Like...very few. Like he's the first gay member of his school's Gay Straight Alliance club in years. So when an absolutely adorable boy named Jordan Ator walks into Dylan's world and the two of them become friends - and then more than friends - Dylan is willing to overlook things like the fact that Jordan always runs at a cool 110 degrees Fahrenheit, or that Dylan has suddenly started coughing flames. 

But as the pressure from his friends and family mounts, Dylan pushes Jordan for answers... and Jordan’s revelations leave Dylan realizing how much first love is truly out of this world - and how much danger they both might be in.
