April Picture Book Launch Bonanza

There are all kinds of special relationships in our young readers' lives, and those special relationships nurture and grow our young readers into the wonderful people they'll become. From grandparents to teachers, there are so many incredible mentors guiding young learners as they grow — and all of them deserve to be celebrated!

In this event, we are celebrating the launches of four beautiful picture books that celebrate mentors and the incredible impact they can have. From visits across the ocean, to sharing special foods and special places together, and to a teacher's important lesson, these stories are heartwarming odes to everyone who nurtures young learners.

Meet Newbery Honor author RAJANI LaROCCA, author of I'll Go and Come Back, THANHHA LAI, author of Hundred Years of Happiness, JULIE FORTENBERRY, the author/illustrator of Grandpa & Jake, and ERIC WILKERSON, the illustrator of COLIN KAEPERNICK's joyful new picture book, I Color Myself Different!
