While we love discovering and sharing exciting novels and picture books featuring LGBTQ+ stories and characters, it's just as important this Pride to celebrate all the bold and brave pioneers who have moved us forward.

Celebrate these real-life icons and also learn how to navigate the complexities of gender and sexuality with these important and fun, fact-filled books: Queer Heroes: Meet 53 LGBTQ Heroes from Past & Present by ARABELLE SICARDI, Seeing Gender by IRIS GOTTLIEB, and Rainbow Revolutionaries: Fifty LGBTQ+ People Who Made History by SARAH PRAGER.
