[WORLD OF OZ]. Wonderful Wizard of Oz Ornament. NY: Kurt S. Adler, 1998. A hand-blown, glass sculpted ornament, which has been silvered, lacquered, and hand-painted by Komozja in Poland for exclusive sale through Kurt S. Adler, as part of the Polonaise collection. The ornament measures 4“ x 6½“ and is housed in its original box (a bit worn with rubbing around edges). The ornament features the original, first edition binding of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, reproduced with paint and glitter. Given the fragile nature of these hand-blown ornaments, it is remarkable that any survive in their original packaging.
