First edition. A wonderful non-fiction story from the beloved children’s fantasy author that begins with an in-depth treatise on the emotional life of children before going on to guide adults through the creation of ‘magical cities’ (like those created in her 1910 novel, The Magic City) in order to capture the imaginations of the children in their lives.
