Spine ends and corners lightly rubbed, a few pages very slightly foxed at edges, else a clean, tight copy.

First edition. Henty’s tale of a young English teen living through the Plague, the Great London fire and the on-again-off-again war with the Dutch. The late-nineteenth century pictorial binding is especially eye-catching.
