A small pewter figurine of the Scarecrow created in the early 1970’s by Pewter Fancy in association with the New York Public Library. Modelled after the Denslow illustrations from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, this is a rare collectible figure based on the books, not the MGM film version of the characters, and uncommon to be found in their original boxes.
