Upper rear corner slightly bumped, rear cover has rubbed spot across upper section, spine ends slightly rubbed, else a near fine copy without dust jacket as issued.
Ca. 1965 white cloth edition. When a whirlpool pulls Trot and her peg-legged sailor friend, Cap'n Bill, into an underwater cave, they find themselves at the start of a wild adventure that eventually brings them to Oz. The opening chapters were written for a third Trot & Cap’n Bill book, but when the series failed, Baum revised it into this Oz tale.
