Railway Train Book

[ERNEST NISTER]. Railway Train Book. (No artist credited). London: Ernest Nister (ca. 1900). Oblong 4to, [16]pp (all printed on extra-thick cardboard stock). Maroon cloth spine with color pictorial front board and glazed rear board. Color illustrations on every page. Edges worn, cover scratched and soiled, portion at top center of front board appears to have been reaffixed, internal pages aged – particularly at edges, with some light traces of hand-soiling in the margins. Nonetheless, an attractive copy of this extremely scarce, somewhat fragile book.

Turn of the century train book. Featuring wonderful full-color illustrations on every page of trains from around the world, this delightful picture book (printed on thick cardboard) is a lovely addition to any collection of books about railroads.
