Some rubbing to spine ends, corners and outer hinges, spine a bit darkened, rear cover has a few small bubbles to cloth and is slightly rubbed, minute traces of internal hand-soiling, else an otherwise clean, tight copy.

First edition. When their father is falsely imprisoned for spying, Roberta, Peter and Phyllis move to a new house near the railway. There they find adventures that result in proving their father’s innocence and reuniting the family. One of Nesbit’s most beloved books, and the basis for two films.
