First Fraser-illustrated edition. Following the success of the illustrated edition of The Lord of the Rings that had been published two years earlier, the Folio Society had illustrator Eric Fraser, who had re-drawn Queen Margrethe II of Denmark’s illustrations for the previous set, return to create this wonderful, matching edition of Bilbo’s tale.
