Spine ends a tad rubbed, else a fine copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (slight edgewear, price-clipped). Signed by the artist, Michael Foreman, and with a bookplate signed by the author, Terry Jones, laid-in.

First edition. 30 original fairy tales – all filled with humor and magic – by the one-time Monty Python member. Foreman’s fantastic watercolors and pen-and-ink drawings bring out the joy and enchantment in these marvelous tales. Terry Jones’ first children’s book and his first collaboration with two-time Greenaway Medalist, Michael Foreman. This team would go on to create The Saga of Erik the Viking, which was the basis for the film by Jones’s fellow Monty Python alum, Terry Gilliam.
