First edition. Millicent Sowerby, who illustrated editions of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, A Child’s Garden of Verses, and Grimm’s Fairy Tales, created her most beautiful and luxurious book in this fantastic edition of Cinderella. Capturing the feel of 17^th century France romanticism, her lush paintings combined with luxurious gold decorations make this a truly stunning work.
