First edition, being printed by Spottiswoode & Co. The first appearance of Stevenson’s beloved collection of children’s poems. Though it would come to be illustrated by dozens of famous (and not so famous) illustrators, this charming, hand-sized unillustrated volume is how it first came to be loved and is a true gem for any collector.
