Two-color pictorial endpapers; 12 full-color plates with captioned tissue guards bearing small line drawings, numerous two-color illustrations throughout. Spine ends and corners lightly rubbed, endpapers faintly foxed, minute traces of foxing in the margins of a few internal pages, small (1/4”) stain at foredge of sheets, else a clean, tight copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (light wear to folds and edges). A particularly lovely copy of this beautiful edition.

With a bright pictorial gilt stamping, this lavish edition is a treasure for any Alice collector. Hudson is best-known for her illustrated editions of Alice and Peter Pan.
