Scarecrow

Standing in a field alone, all the woodland creatures know not to mess with the scarecrow. He’s big and tall with a scary face. But when a small, wounded crow drops from the sky, Scarecrow does something unexpected. He snaps his pole and bends down low. He scoops the little bird up off the ground and lets it nestle into his warm, safe straw. As the seasons pass, the crow gets better. But what will happen when it has to fly away for winter?
