Known for his illustration work on such classic novels as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Pinocchio, and Peter Pan, Libico Maraja was one of the most influential post-war Italian illustrators. This illustrated edition of L. Frank Baum’s classic novel highlights his wonderful talents, bringing a whole new perspective to this often-illustrated tale. Though the text has been abridged, it retains most of Baum’s original text, including all of Dorothy’s adventures as she travels south to find Glinda.
