Spine ends and corners a tad rubbed, slight rippling to cloth at top corner of rear board and top center of front board, previous owner’s bookplate affixed to front free endpaper, endpapers a tad aged, else a clean, tight copy.
First edition thus, being the first Clarke edition to feature color plates! Some of the most beloved tales from Edgar Allen Poe are brought to haunting life in the striking artwork of Harry Clarke!
