Spine ends and lower corners slightly rubbed, some faint spotting to rear cover, front hinge mended, else a near fine copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (2” closed tear at bottom of rear panel, some wear and chipping along folds and edges, 2” x 2” faint dampstain in upper right corner of front panel).
First edition, first state (illustrated endpapers, 16-page gatherings,) binding A (silver embellishments on front and illustration of a girl’s face on spine,) first state dust jacket (metallic silver embellishments, listing only to this title on rear flap).
