Corners a bit worn, tiny mark at bottom of front board, endpapers and surrounding sheets a tad aged, else a remarkably clean, bright copy in original pictorial dust jacket (small chip at head of spine, tiny chips at corners, small faint damp-stain to spine). Rare in dust jacket!

First and only edition. The fifth of the annual Swedish collection of fairy tales, titled ”Among Gnomes and Trolls” in English. This edition from 1911 was the only one to have been illustrated by Norwegian painter, illustrator, and writer Louis Moe. It is incredibly rare to find such early editions of these wonderful collections in their original jackets!
