This month, Books of Wonder is proud to celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, and artistry of writers of Southwest Asian and North African heritage. SWANA* immigrants have been an integral part of the fabric of our nation for hundreds of years, and we are honored to share these beautiful and unique stories with you today as a product of the love that they have for their history.

* SWANA is a way to describe the Southwest Asian and North African region in a geographical, non-political, non-religious and non-Eurocentric way.
