First edition. Set in 1947, just after World War II, this is the story of a ten year old girl spending the winter in Florida with her grandmother and ill brother. Her active imagination revolves around fantasies of film stars like Margaret O’Brien and Esther Williams as well as Old Mr. Zaodsky, a neighbor Sally thinks might be Adolf Hitler in disguise! One of the few books by Judy Blume set during her own childhood.
