This year, as many of us get ready to see our friends and families for the first Thanksgiving together in a little while, Books of Wonder would like to invite you and your young readers to gather together with us for an afternoon of picture books celebrating community, compassion, and joy. Authors and artists COREY ROSEN SCWARTZ, KIRSTI CALL, CHAD OTIS, PETER REYNOLDS, and CHRIS RASCHKA will come together virtually to share their wonderful new picture books with us on Sunday November 14th at 1:00pm via Crowdcast.

Cold Turkey, Our Table, and The Blue Table are wonderful stories to teach young readers about the joys of connecting with each other, and the importance of kindness and community. All three would be perfect cozy read-aloud books for these chilly winter months, or for the whole year round!

For all Books of Wonder events, we expect all participants to maintain a family friendly atmosphere, inclusive of respect and fairness. Anyone who violates this standard of behavior, including engaging in any form of harassment, inappropriate language, or disruptive conduct, will, at our discretion, be immediately removed.
