We are truly thrilled to be hosting three best-selling creators to share their new picture books with you and your young readers. Join us in welcoming MARC BROWN for Hop Helps Out,  STEVE LIGHT to share Gus and Sully: Ready for School , and TIM MILLER for Duckie & Snaps: We Cannot Be Friends.

Join us in-store to discover:

  • Hop Helps Out by MARC BROWN. One fine morning, Hop and Benny meet a crying troll named Helga -- she wants to see more of Fair Village but is worried about leaving her home beneath the bridge. As Hop helps out, Helga realizes the world is filled with many good things, especially when you have a friend by your side!

  • Gus and Sully: Ready for School by STEVE LIGHT. It’s time for Gus the rhino and Sully the mouse to start their morning routine, beginning with a nice big stretch. They’ve each got a special style: healthy breakfast for Gus and nothing but sugar-frosted for Sully. Up-and-down with the toothbrush for one, and side-to-side for the other. Sully’s quick to put on pants one leg at a time, while Gus tries both legs in one (uh-oh, pants problem!). And though Gus carefully checks the necessary backpack items, and Sully stuffs everything inside but the kitchen sink, they’re both super excited to head off to school. We’re ready!

  • Duckie & Snaps: We Cannot Be Friends illustrated by TIM MILLER. After Duckie's egg rolls into Snaps' nest, they hatch, meet, and their friendship is off to a good start -- until they are told they CANNOT be friends because crocodiles EAT tasty duckies... and Duckie is a duckie! (Nobody ever told her!) Will Snaps defend his new friend... even when HE gets hungry himself? Join hatchlings Duckie and Snaps on their hilarious and emotion-packed adventures as this dreamer-and-doer duo explore if they CAN be friends.

Sunday, March 30th at 2PM ET at Our 17th St Store!
