Ezra Jack Keats Award 35th Anniversary Celebration - The Luminaries!
To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Ezra Jack Keats Award, we will be hosting a panel with 4 past winners and honorees: OGE MORA, MEG MEDINA, MIKE CURATO and SYDNEY SMITH. These talented picture book creators will be participating in a panel discussion moderated by author and artist PAT CUMMINGS. She will talk to the panelists about what the award meant to them and how it has influenced and affected their careers.
The Ezra Jack Keats Award celebrates authors and illustrators, early in their careers, who create extraordinary books that, in the spirit of Ezra Jack Keats, reflect our diverse population, the universal experience of childhood and the strength of family.
