Five very different teens at the Chandler Academy, an elite Connecticut boarding school, find themselves drawn together by their membership in an exclusive writing club. The five - Beth, Sarah, Spence, Ramin, and Freddy - are all struggling in their own ways, and the club is their refuge from the toxic campus culture and their own pain. But as they grow closer to each other, opening up and sharing their truths, the costs of confronting Chandler Academy’s long swept-under-the-rug legacy of bullying, homophobia, racism, and sexual assault threaten to ruin it all.
