Join Us for this Pawfect Event! 

It's National Dog Day, and we have some fur-tastic titles to share with you to celebrate it! Whether you have seven dogs, a pup that dreams of stardom, or of a relaxing beach day, these books are a walk in the bark! Join us to meet these delightful dogs as they go abut their pawsome days! 

Walk on over to meet: 

• I Have Seven Dogs by MOLLY HORAN and illustrated by DANA WULFEKOTTE. Zoe wants a dog but can’t have one. But that doesn’t stop her from befriending all the dogs in her neighborhood — and appreciating each one’s charms and quirks. She's a good problem solver, so when a visit to the community garden inspires a brilliant doggy idea, it’s time to celebrate! 
  
  
• The Pumpernickel Daffodil by GALIA BERNSTEIN. Wodehouse Chili Pepper Pumpernickel the Third's family is made of of champions, blue-ribbon winners, and Bests in Show galore, and all of them agree that one day, he will be the best of them all! After all, he IS a Pumpernickel-Daffodil... But when he gets his own human, neither feels so sure that they’re blue-ribbon material. Will they be top dog at their first competition? 
  
  
• Hot Dog by DOUG SALATI. It’s summer in the city, and this hot dog has had enough! Enough of sizzling sidewalks, enough of wailing sirens, enough of people’s feet right in his face. When he plops down in the middle of a crosswalk, his owner endeavors to get him the breath of fresh air he needs. She hails a taxi, hops on a train, and ferries out to the beach. Here, a pup can run! 
  
  
• The Rescues Finding Home by TOMMY GREENWALD. Moose and Bear are two scrappy shelter dogs patiently waiting for the right owner to adopt them. They meet, become friends, and one day a Cathy decides to take them both home. Despite their luck, they must face the challenges of settling into their new home. Along the way, they learn about each other, and their friendship deepens. 

*One book may be brought from home to be signed for every book purchased at the event.
