Please join us on Saturday, September 6^th as we celebrate the kick-off of the fall season.  Joining us will be the following 8 wonderful picture book authors and artists, including 4 great author-artist teams: celebrated author of The Phantom Tollbooth, NORTON JUSTER and Caldecott Medalist CHRIS RASCHKA for Sourpuss and Sweetie Pie, a sequel to their award-winning The Hello, Goodbye Window; the creators of the Caldecott Honor Book, Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type, author DOREEN CRONIN and illustrator BETSY LEWIN for the latest title in this hilarious series, Thump, Quack, Moo; creators of the Caldecott Medal-winning Hey, Al! author ARTHUR YORINKS and artist RICHARD EGIELSKI for What A Trip! – their first collaboration in over a decade; NY Times best-selling author of The Orchid Thief, SUSAN ORLEAN and award-winning illustrator G. Brian Karas for Lazy Little Loafers; Caldecott Honor artist and author JON AGEE for The Retired Kid; and the creator of Russell the Sheep, British author and illustrator ROB SCOTTON for Splat the Cat. Each of these immensely talented authors and artists will present their new books, answer questions from the audience, and then sign copies of all their many wonderful books. Recommended for ages 3-8. 12 – 2pm
