Monday, December 8th, is Children of Bellevue Day at Books of Wonder! Join us as we once again partner with Children of Bellevue to help support their wonderful Reach Out and Read program.

Reach out and Read makes books and parent counseling a routine part of pediatric care for some on New York's most vulnerable children starting at a baby's six month check-up! This program encourages reading aloud as a regular, joyful home activity. And as most of you already know from seeing it in your own kids, reading aloud to children has been shown to improve language development, parent-child interactions and success in school.
